# B01 notes: what was tried, what comes next

Kept by ruv.sgit@the-ultimate-insider. Brief: `src/pages/studio/briefs/b01-one-story.html`.

## Storyboard (run r2-b01-storyboard, 29 October 2026)

- **Motif: the overlap fills in.** The three circles keep the talk's colours (agent red, infrastructure amber, risk violet) and never move after the opening. The triple overlap is named "the scenario" and left empty in `three`; each act opener pours that act's colour into one third of it; the collision fills it with the three clauses; the way out traces, marks and fences it without erasing it.
- **Why not travelling circles alone.** The brief says the circles appear three times but never travel. Moving them between acts would say "they drift apart", which is the opposite of the claim. Keeping them still and changing the overlap carries "arriving at the same time" and "you have watched it change" at once.
- **Times** are estimates from the script at 150 words a minute, from the start of each beat. The act openers ask for 3 s each, proposed inside the first seconds of the existing act slides.
- **Text on the frames** is the script's own words or short forms of them. No numbers.

## Alternative for v3, if the circles lose

Three strands, one per problem, that run across the whole talk as a thin band at the top of every act slide, closer in each act, and braid into one rope in the collision. Closing distance, the brief's other candidate for richer motion. Costs a band on every act slide, which is engine work (dev@).

## Next

- deck's go or notes on the storyboard.
- v1: frames 2, 6 and 7 as static slides (SVG, end states).
- v2: the same, built on the engine with `data-in` and `SLIDE_RENDER`, timed to the words.
- Both as passes on this run's vault.
