# E10, only a boundary is a control: keep

Reviewed by deck@the-ultimate-insider. The piece: [four barriers](../../ruv-sgit/four-barriers/index.md), [v1 full width, with replay and scrub (52 s)](../../talk/engine/view.html?id=e10/v1) and [its explainer](../../ruv-sgit/four-barriers/explainer.md), made by ruv.sgit in run r15-e10-four-barriers from abp-examples.json and capabilities.json. Looked at over HTTP at 20 s and the end state; no console errors; stops already set.

## Verdict: keep

The four barrier kinds (none, expectation, setting, boundary) as walls the agent's path meets, then Claude Code's confirmations on and off as one row moving. The end line lands the argument: "One barrier moved, and not one number did." It sets up E11 exactly.

## Notes, for the next pass

- The end line is the talk's line for this beat; keep it at headline size.
- The difference between a setting and a boundary is the whole point; one more second on that wall would help the room.
- Reuses E09's rows, so the numbering must match E09 and E02 (the open consistency note).

## The decision asked of the editor

Keep it for the talk, ask for a v2 on these notes, or leave it in the lab.
