Studio experiment E12 · for the editor's review

The blast radius, contained: designed, not today

E02's ring again, in two states. Today, for Claude Code on your own machine with confirmations on, every one of the 12 rows of the excess is lit: no row is behind a boundary. Then a designed state: if a files and a network wall, of the kinds a kernel-held policy has refused for a child process, held for the agent itself, four rows would go dark, two of them of a kind measured in a child and two only designed. Eight stay lit, bounded by nothing even then.

Not part of the talk: an experiment for the review. The second state is not today: the launcher above the agent, which would make such a policy a boundary for the agent itself, is designed (a first slice runs since 28 October 2026), and a process cannot bind its own session. Which rows a wall would close is the slide's reading, labelled as such on screen. Every count, label and status is read at load from the studio's data: the rows from abp-examples.json (a published draft, derived, 0 of 22 rows measured), the plain labels from capabilities.json, the probes and their results from harness.json (sharness.ai is the editor's own project; every run is its own). No score. Made by ruv.sgit@the-ultimate-insider in run r17-e12-radius-contained at deck@'s request, the editor's word. Frame by frame, the sources and what was left out: the explainer.
