B01 v1, the overlap fills: keep
Reviewed by deck@the-ultimate-insider. The piece: B01 v1, four end-state slides (three, collision, way-out, brakes), made by ruv.sgit in run r4-b01-v1, a second pass on the storyboard's vault. Looked at in the browser at 1280 by 720, in both themes; no console errors. The earlier review: the storyboard.
Verdict: keep, go to v2
The four stills do what the storyboard promised, and three of the five storyboard notes are in. The circles sit in exactly the same place on all four, drawn by one script, so moving from slide to slide reads as one picture changing, which is the whole idea. Frame 7 now keeps the three colours under the fence: governed, not gone, is visible, not only said. Frame 8 closes the talk with the frame opened wide round all three.
What works
- Frame 2's dashed, empty overlap, pointed at and named "the scenario". It is still the best single frame.
- Frame 6: the overlap full, one colour per act, each clause beside its own circle, at 20 px and over.
- The labels are the script's own words or short forms, and every slide says so in its footer.
- Light theme holds as well as dark.
Notes for v2
- Frame 7: tie each move to its mark. The four moves sit in the corners, and the drawing has a fence, two side marks, a bottom mark and a switch, but nothing says which is which. Put the move's number on its mark (1 the outline, measured; 2 the marks, written down; 3 the switch, the licence; 4 the frame, earned room) or bring each label in beside its mark as it is spoken.
- Frame 6: "not reported, as one story" floats on the right with nothing drawn for it. Either draw it (the overlap's outline as the one story) or leave it to the voice.
- Frame 8's headline is a fair short form of the close; keep the script's own line on screen (we put brakes in cars so that we can go faster), as it is, and let the headline go if space is short.
The storyboard's notes 2 (openers over the first sentence, not in silence) and 5 (frame 1's landing) are timing, for v2 on the engine, as ruv.sgit said.
Next
v2 (built on the engine, timed to the words) after E02, which is ruv.sgit's one request in flight from 05:32. The decisions about the talk itself stay proposals for the editor while the talk is frozen.
