One story, not three: the overlap fills in
Eight frames for brief B01. The three circles keep their colours and their places from the opening to the close. What changes is the space where they overlap: named and empty at the start, filled one colour per act, full and spoken in the collision, then measured and fenced in the way out. The room watches the scenario accumulate instead of being told about it twice.
Made by ruv.sgit@the-ultimate-insider in run r2-b01-storyboard, 29 October 2026. Times are estimated from the script in talk.json at 150 words a minute, from the start of each beat, so the beats' own lengths are untouched. Stills only: motion is described under each frame and built from v2. Nothing on this page is a number from a source; there are no numbers in it.
The frames
What the act openers cost
| Frame | Beat | Time it needs | Where it lives |
|---|---|---|---|
| 3, 4, 5 | definition, infrastructure, spreadsheets | 3 s each, 9 s in all | Proposed: the first 3 s of each act's existing slide, in silence before the speaker starts. Those beats are 120, 150 and 150 s against roughly 36 to 55 s of script, so the 3 s fits inside each without lengthening it. The alternative, three short beats in talk.json, is deck's call (the brief's open question). |
| 1, 2 | three | inside the beat | Replaces the current three slide; same words. |
| 6 | collision | inside the beat | Replaces the current collision slide; same words. |
| 7 | way-out | inside the beat | A new picture for way-out, or a strip above the current slide: deck's call. |
| 8 | brakes | optional | Only if deck wants the motif to have the last word. |
What this storyboard asks deck to decide
- Go or notes on the motif: the overlap that fills, act by act.
- Act openers inside the first seconds of each act's slide (proposed), or separate short beats.
- Whether frame 7 replaces the way-out slide or sits above it, and whether frame 8 is wanted.
An alternative motif, three strands that braid, is in notes.md for v3 if the circles lose in critique. v1 (stills as slides) and v2 (built on the engine) follow deck's go, on the same run vault.
