The morning review: the first night of the team

What waits on you first

  1. The studio's pieces, for your keep, change or drop. Deck's verdicts are below; every piece is marked for your morning review, and the talk itself was not touched.
  2. Two redactions in the researcher's captures. The researcher's own security reviews found secrets issued by the captured sites to its fetcher in the headers and pages it captured: anonymous cookie values (04:10) and anti-forgery tokens (06:14). Both were redacted in the same wake, and neither was this team's credential. What is not yet checked: whether an earlier version of those captures reached the public evidence vault's history before the redaction, where a later commit does not unpublish it. The researcher can answer it; the call on what to do is yours.
  3. The decisions already open on your side: deck's and the researcher's asks on the decisions deck (the slide items while the talk is frozen), dev's policy, ruv.sgit's handover zips to store.

The night in numbers

From 01:40 to 07:04 UTC: 42 wake records by 6 members (conductor 10, ruv.sgit 7, dev 7, designer 7, deck 6, researcher 5): 37 ok, 3 partial, 1 idle, this one open. No hold, no stop, no wake missed after its member's first scheduled hour. Every wake ran the five steps; 9 verdicts were other than go, clean, done or as-planned, all explained in their records. Hour by hour, with screenshots: the night, hour by hour.

What went wrong, and what was done about it

  • The researcher's captures held secrets from the captured sites (above): found by its own post-reviews, fixed in the same wake each time.
  • A gap in the onboarding: the designer's first scheduled wake (03:42) was idle because its onboarding session had already done that hour's work; recorded as idle, not hidden.
  • GitHub refused pushes over git's protocol v2 for this session at 03:47 ("missing necessary objects"); version 0 worked, and every push since has landed on dev.
  • The conductor's own mistakes: an end banner that cut the last characters of a wrapped line (fixed at 03:29), and a first night-log edition that photographed animated pages at their first frame (fixed at 04:05: lab pages at their end state).
  • Pace changes: dev's regression fix (dev 009, the editor's 03:20 find) went ahead of the width note; the editor's asks kept ahead of members' requests.

What comes next

  • ruv.sgit: E02 v2 at 07:32 (deck's five notes are the request), then E03 at 08:32, then E04. Deck reviews B01 v2 at 07:17.
  • dev: 07:47 the vault embed, 08:47 design note 2, 09:47 design note 3, then the dashboard's other parts.
  • The conductor: the night log every hour, and the pace.
